In a home where the smell of fresh buttercream and warm cake drifts through the kitchen after long days at football games, cheer practices, and nonstop family life, Cassie’s Confections thrives. I’m Cassie – the baker, decorator, late-night creator, and heart behind it all. These days, my children are teenagers with busy schedules, big dreams, and calendars full of sports and activities, so life looks a little different than it once did. But one thing hasn’t changed: my love for creating beautiful desserts that bring people together. My family is my life, baking is my passion, and I never take for granted the blessing of building both side by side.

I am not your average baker… as a former hairstylist, TaeKwonDo 2nd degree black belt  and former instructor and co-owner of a TaeKwonDo school, multi-business entrepreneur as well as a wife and momma of four wonderful kids, ages 12 to 18, my love of sweets has nestled itself nicely into a most fulfilling life. My husband and I have been married for nearly 22 years now, together since we were just babies 25 years ago. Our family is extremely competitive in many sports, including soccer, football, cheerleading and track and field. Our souls are often most at rest when we’re camped out at a football field or competition floor cheering on one of our kids.

Cassie’s Confections is a home-based bakery located in Highlands Ranch, Colorado. I am completely self-taught and started this business from literally nothing. I am so thankful to have a second kitchen (“The Bakery”) in my home that is separate from my family but so very near, convenient, and very much my own inspirational space. Cassie’s Confections operates under Colorado’s Cottage Food Act, and cleanliness and professionalism are among my top priorities.

As a baker and cake designer, I strive to learn something new with each and every order that leaves my bakery and perfection is always my goal, from delicious flavors that leave you wanting more to beautiful, clean and elegant designs that leave a lasting impression on your guests. I adore the thrill of something new each week and the challenge of discovering or creating new techniques, tools and ingredients. I love to teach – my YouTube channel is my secret joy.
